Roseraie Sock Knitting Pattern - Cat & Sparrow UK
The Roseraie Sock pattern (which appeared in The Knitter issue 187) features a beautiful climbing leaf and bud pattern on the front and the back of the sock, and the heel is a slip-stitch flap and gusset, although you can substitute it with any heel you like! The stitch pattern is modified from one found in Knitting Patterns Book 250 by Hitomi Shida. Designed by Rachael aka Sparrow of Cat & Sparrow UK.
The pattern can be knit to 2 sizes:
Size 1:
To fit foot circumference: 20-23½ cm / 7¾-9¼ in
Actual foot circumference: 16 cm / 6¼ in
Actual leg circumference: 17 cm / 19½ in
Size 2:
To fit foot circumference: 24-26½ cm / 9½-10½ in
Actual foot circumference: 18 cm / 7 in
Actual leg circumference: 6¾ cm / 7¾ in
Yarn: will work with any 4ply or fingering weight sock yarn.
